Hello and Welcome to the New Year

Hello and Welcome to the Year 2022! Are you excited? Is this your year? Any resolutions? Are you going to work towards them? Or allow progress to fade as days go by because you realized your yearly pattern of not following through hasn’t changed?

Don’t get me wrong, sticking to a goal is nice and all but if the goal changes and other things get done that’s still an accomplishment, in my eyes. For instance, when I started this blog I figured I would have posted daily, simply because I’m writing constantly. The necessary need to clear my head of unwanted foggy thoughts hasn’t wavered. I just know most of it isn’t appropriate to share, though the nosy few would disagree.

I’d like to stick to a schedule and write to my heart’s content but my hands are not always fast enough to capture most thoughts. Losing the topic and exact phrasing of what I wanted to say deters me a bit. The point of it all though is to not give up. Even if taking a whole month off is in order, continuing eventually is the important part.

My main concern, though, is forgetting the purpose of this blog. Or focusing too much on the eyes who’ll see this instead of it being an escape for my mind. This is a safe space for everyone to say as they please. That’s what I want it to feel like especially for new writers.

That’s Right, New Writers!

I’ve reached out to a few writers who I would love to have share on this blog. A couple seem interested and one has already submitted a piece. I’m excited to share their thoughts and introduce them on here. I believe everyone has a lot on their mind so why not have them clear up some space by sharing on a public platform that encourages clarity.

Having different writers submit and post on here is definitely going to make this blog more interesting. Make it more refreshing and cozy than an open door into my head.

I’m not sure what this blog will become but it’s a journey I’d like to keep exploring. Picking up some brilliant minds along the way is just the beginning. Might branch off and have this evolve into a gallery for small time artist. But one step at a time.

For now, I’m hopefully this will turn into a writer’s safe haven. And that alone is inspiration enough to continue on.

Thank You!

It’s February now and I’m back with a lot to share. Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed my words so far. I hope as this year continues to move forward you’ll stick around and see what’s new. Thank you again and have a beautiful day!!
